Oh Christmas tree...
Well it has been a week since we got our Christmas tree. I have sat down a couple of times to post the pictures and tell what a wonderful time we had getting our tree, but I have had mixed feelings about the tree this year.
It has always been a big deal to get our tree. When I was growing up we would get trees for Christmas from the dessert where my grandpa had his sheep for the winter. I remember after Thanksgiving I would wait to see grandpa or Uncle Ben pull up in the truck with the trees and I knew Christmas would be right around the corner!!! Ok trees from the dessert are the best. They smell so good and they are really bushy and beautiful. They are actually my most favorite tree ever and I loved the tradition of waiting for grandpa to get back from the dessert with our tree.
When we moved in to our new house we would have two trees, one in the family room, and one in the front room. The one in the living room was the smaller bushier tree from the dessert, It was the one that us kids got to decorate!!! The other tree was the taller tree that we would go get up Mill Hollow. I learned to love the trip up to get the tree with all the family. Eventually the tree in the front room was the only tree we would have every year instead of two . I really loved all of us going and getting the tree and although it was not big and bushy I loved the tradition!!!
And so that brings me to my confusion of the tree this year...
Even when Wacey and I first got married we carried on the tradition of getting a permit and going and cutting our own tree. WITH THE FAMILY. The last couple of years have been different because I had Addey the one year and could not go, so we stayed home and got the decorations out and ready for the tree. Last year my mom watched the girls so Wacey, Cole and I went and got the tree.
So This year We got the permits to go get our tree. I was so excited because all my little family (Wacey, Me, Addey, and Reece) were all going together !! I had got a permit for my mom so Cole went with us to find a tree for her !!! We went early enough there was no snow so I thought it would be great. I was so frustrated with the trip because we could not find any tree's that looked decent.
I don't know if it is because I still love the bushy trees from the dessert and I am so picky, but we just could not find one that looked good enough to be my Christmas tree.
And our tree is up, yes with mixed emotion because it was not the traditional way. But as I was thinking of the

So of the the nursery we went, after our quest for our tree up Mill Hollow. I actually think the girls had just as much fun at the nursery going up and down the ailes of trees!! And they got to pick the tree!!!

We did get our tree and it is actually a pretty tree!!

We brought the tree straight home and put it in the house right away!

I now have my family and I am making new traditions !!! I still have not given up on the Real tree, We may see if our tradition is going to change again next year ( maybe if our real tree dies before Christmas)
The one thing that I was not disappointed with was... The four of us, my family was together and we had a great time being together!!!!

Happy Halloween
We were going to have Reece wear Addeys Cute Lady bug costume that she wore at that age and had tried it on many times just for fun. BUT grandma went shopping and found the Chick costume and had to get it. Grandma spoils us and I am glad she did because Look at how dang cute Reece is as a cute little chick. Oh and her next years skunk costume because I am sure she will be a stinker!!! This was the pre Halloween photo shoot we had to have with them dressed in the costumes Nanni bought.
I did have to remind Addey that we had bought her the Snow white costume and she did end up being Snow White for her Preschool party and for Trick or Treating. We started early and went to Woodland Hills and got plenty of candy, We did go home and get warmed up and waited for dad to get home from school, and then we finished our Trick or Treating at both grandma's houses.
So I do not love all the scary, spooky, Halloween things. But I did have a fun Halloween taking my kids Trick or Treating and getting all dressed up!!
Happy Birthday ASH !!!
Monday night we decided to carve our pumpkins in preperation for Halloween !! We had a lot of fun with Cache, Cole, Ashley, Wacey, Addey and Reece all getting in on the fun!! Reece was so interested in what daddy was doing and wanted to be right in on the action.
Addey also loved carving the pumpkins she helped me get all the guts out and helped Ashley do the carving.

A view from a child.
Addey got a camera for her birthday and has taken 180 pictures in the 4 hours I have let her play with it. That is not the pictures I deleted that she took while I was trying to get ready for church. (I was in the tub)
There is a LCD screen in her camera but we decided we would download them on the computer so she could see them. It was interesting to see from her view!!! Here are some of Addeys pictures she took with her camera!

How our story began...
I have to explain one of my answers to my tag question about my first thought when I saw Wacey. You have to understand I had seen Wacey many many times before we actually MEET.
My grandpa Fitzgerald had sheep and I would always see these boys coming to show how TUFF they were by "docking the sheep" (or pulling the sheep balls out with there teeth). I had grown up around that and thought that NO ONE was Tuffer than my grandpa, my uncle Ben or my dad. So that did not really do it for me, until this one particular boy caught my eye!!! I never new exactly who he was but I did remember him.
The next encounter with Wacey was when my best friend, Christy would not shut up about 'quarter boy". She went to get a drink from the drink machine and was a quarter short when "quarter boy" kindly gives her a quarter and she instantly fell in love. OR something because that is all I heard Quarter boy this, quarter boy that...Well one day as we are walking out of the bathroom I said "ok who is this quarter boy?" As I ran right into him!!! That was the boy, the boy that could be one of the Tuffest guys I knew (after my grandpa, uncle Ben, and my dad) . I could not believe it, but he was my best friends "quarter boy."
So I knew who this boy was now and had finally got a name but never had the chance to really talk to him. I mean really what was I suppose to say, " I like the technique you use on pulling those sheep's balls out, it really caught my eye. To bad my best friend likes you."
UNTIL the day... It was state basketball and we were dancing at one of the games. I saw Wacey and Kirk sitting there and that is all I could think, "He is nice why is he hanging out with Kirk Gines". Not that I do not like Kirk, But that is what I thought. (I actually thought that we might be related because he was hanging out with kirk). And that is actually where our story begins. We started a conversation about the dance we had just done and he said he wanted to come watch me again. I told him we would be dancing again the next day and he said he would defiantly be there. The next day he was not there, but I do not think he missed another one of my dances after that!!!!
He now has many labels, Tuff still being one of them, But one of my favorite is his softer side!! I love how is with our girls. And so you see we were meant to be together running into each other and finally Kirk Gines was the one who actually got us together after all that.

I have to add a cute story to my Little visual aid I did for Addey upcoming 3rd Birthday. Over the Labor day weekend we had a few birthdays in the Richards family. We all got together after all the festivities for dinner, cake and ice cream, and happy birthday wishes. We were singing Happy birthday, and Addey always being the center of attention, got up in the middle of the song and said " Evwybody stop- My birfday is coming- can you hear it??" SOO cute to hear her be so excited for her birthday and actually realize what is going on!! I am going to say it again, I can not believe she is getting so big. So here it is almost here... Can you hear it??

Time fly's when you are having fun!!

I know everyone has been waiting for me to finally get my computer back so I can get some pictures up on my blog. Well I got my computer back and Wacey had put ALL my stuff from probably every computer I ever had on my new computer!! I thought I would never see some of my stuff again, but he had saved it all for me. It just took a while to get all together. So This is one of the pictures I found!! The day We brought Reece home from the hospital. I remember thinking Addey is still a baby and I am bringing a baby home". Addey would say "baby Reece " and I knew Addey would grow up pretty fast with a baby in the house. She did, she thought she was the mother and wanted to always hold "baby Reece". And now they are both growing up so fast. Reece is not really even my baby anymore. I still call her my baby Reece, but she wants to do everything her big sister is doing. I am kinda sad they are getting so big, but I have had so much fun with them!! Time fly's when you are having FUN!!!

My most recent Pictures
Reece always wants to do what big sister is doing and figured out she can lay down in the tub too!!
Addey got Papa Bisel's fine hair! This is one of the things we did a lot of this summer ( jumping on the tramp) but Addey is not jumping!!!
Well this is my favorite part of the whole bloging thing...Showing off my cute girls!! So check in once in a while and I have plenty of cute pictures. Love Beau Dee
Well I am getting our "blogg" together and so I thought I would just give everyone a little update on what is going on in our family!!
Wacey is working at Stone security in Lehi so it is a little drive for him everyday. I have appreciated Wacey driving so I can live in Woodland but sometimes I feel bad that he has to drive so much. He not only drives to Lehi but he has clients in Layton, all accross the wasatch front, to Provo. He also sacrificed his Audi and down graded to our little beatter the Ford Focus. He is the best husband and daddy ever, he works so hard. He is also going to school at University of Pheonix at nights. He is usually only gone on some tuesdays and every wednesday night, but he also stays busy with homework most nights. I do not know how he does it but he does not get much sleep. He is the best!!!!
I am also so greatful that Wacey works so hard so I can stay home with the kids!! It has been so rewarding to raise my 2 beautiful girls. Sometimes I think about going back to work a couple days a week and I always get little "obsticles" that do not allow me to, those obsticles turn out to be Huge blessings because I am here with my girls!!!
Addey is growing up so much. She keeps us busy. She is going to start dance one day a week, and Pre-school 2 days a week !! She always wants to be going, learning and playing.
Reece is just so layed back and such a good baby! I guess she is not my baby anymore. We have had so much fun with her, it will be nice to have a little alone time with her while Addey is at school. It is so fun to have 2 girls, they have so much fun together and Reece does get bored when Addey is gone.
Well life is busy and we don't keep up with every one like we would like to, but we are all doing well and trying to keep up. It is a good thing we have each other and our girls keep us going!!!
