It has been a while since I did a post, I was thinking of the theme I have been doing and all the things I love! I just HAD to put this picture on because
I Love it, and I LOVE MY GIRLS!!
My Cousin did a post on how she had learned the term "in the weeds" while she was waitressing. The term meaning you feel so swamped you can't get out... You know the feeling, when you feel like you are in a bad dream and you can not wake up. I had never heard that term, although I have felt that way and after reading her post felt like I can relate to her. This last year I have felt like I am "in the weeds" a lot.
Wacey and I were talking last night after another week of not seeing each other much and we were talking about how Happy we really are. We have our beautiful daughters, we have a home, we have food to eat, and we are working together to make this work. Yes I have to make my schedule work so I can go to work but still get Addey off the bus, My house seems like it is always cramped and a mess, dinner seems like just another chore (especially when I try to make something nice and healthy for the girls and Wacey isn't even there to eat), and it has been really hard to juggle the kids, work, and doing a lot of it myself while I know Wacey is working just as hard working during the day to provide for us and going to POST at night.
I have had so much help from so many people and I appriciate it so much! My mom takes a day (sometimes two) out of her already busy scedule to watch my girls (I do not know how I would go to work and make any money if I had to pay a babysitter). I also have many friends and cousins willing to help me (you know who you are!!) and I just want you all to know I really really apriciate it. Thanks Chelsea for the Term! Weeds can be cut down, they are pesky and more weeds grow... but you will not drown in weeds! And thank you Wacey for working so hard and walking through the weeds with me! I ♥ my family!!

Great post! I really like that term too "in the weeds". That pic of your girls is so stinkin cute I love it!!!
Well, I am wiping away the tears right now -- because even though I have been "in the weeds" many times in my life, I hate to see my little daughter and my little neice feeling that way. Maybe it's growth, since we all seem to have to go through it. Also, we know we are given opposition in all things, so opposite of nice, happy life -- cruel, swamping situations! The outcome is strength and the ability to see things as they really are -- which you exhibit in your post. Great post. It's nice to be able to share with others! Love you!
Hang in there! How much longer does he have POST?
Your girls are adorable - as always!!!
Beautiful! And just think that after all of your hard work, one day it will be a bed of roses!!!
Oh Beau, I am sorry you are swamped with STUFF right how. I totally know how you feel. I hope that things start turning around soon, but it sounds like you have a great outlook on it even if it doesn't! I love the beautiful post about your family.
Oh yeah, those girls are TOO CUTE!
What a great blog! I feel like I've been "in the weeds" all week with moving. It's been crazy but I have to remember that it's one step closer to what we want for our family. Thanks for reminding me!
Glad to share the phrase with you! It fits so perfectly! Hopefully things will start looking up soon! Its great to see all that we have to be thankful for, even when life seems so busy!
There is a lot to be said for someone who can look at the insanity in their life and be grateful for all the good that they have as well. You are definitely an inspiration to me with your attitude in this blog.
Your girls are so stinkin' cute. Take care - good luck with everything you have going on, and just keep it up. Eat the elephant one bite at a time!
The weeds seem to be rather thick over here too! Know that you aren't in this battle alone....I think that the trick is to not get lost in those rotton-old weeds, but it sounds like you aren't. Hang in there. Loves!!!
Beau,
Just wanted to let you know I was sorry to hear about your Grandpa passing away. Hope you have atleast enjoyed the time with you family (Weddings and Funerals bring us together). Take Care
Luv,
Amber
Thanks so much for telling them we needed a nursery. It was a life saver.
Your post is so good. We all feel like we are in the weeds sometimes. I have felt that way recently as well.
