We are leaving on Addey's birthday (September 30) So I did this post early so I could just put it up before we left. (that is why it says the 16) I was trying to be so prepared. So happy birthday Addey !! We love you and we are going to swim at the hotel tonight for your birthday~

Yes we are Potty training. .. Mom.
Reece has been so good at going potty for about 4 months but I did not want to deal with it while we were moving (and then we did not move.), She does really good and wears panty's at home but it is so hard when we are away from home, Now we are moving (Yes we are trying again) it is so hard... I just keep coming up with excusses.
I keep telling myself "when she goes potty by herself what is next, dating" But I know I should just train myself and help her go potty!!! I might be a little selfish in my holding her back but I know what happens when they start doing all these things. I pushed her down every time she tried to walk.
I guess I will just admit that my kids are growing up. This seems to be a pattern of it being harder on me than the kids.

I saw this questionnaire on a friend's blog so I quizzed Addey (and sometimes Reece said a thing or two!!).

2. What makes Mom happy? clean up our rooms, sleeping in my own bed!! (Oh she is so right!!)

8. What is Mom's favorite thing to do? Clean her own room, pick up dads socks ( I think she got confused with things I am ALWAYS doing but do not love to do)

9. What does Mom do when you're not around? Make beds

10. If your Mom becomes famous, what will it be for? Give people shots

11. What is Mom really good at? do Laundry

12. What is Mom not very good at? I don't know ( did I pay her to say that?)

13. What does Mom do for a job? giving people shoots (and I hope I do become famous for it and make lots of money)

14. What is Mom's favorite food? Salad

15. What makes you proud of Mom? I so proud of you

16. If Mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? mmm probably Kiou's mom.

17. What do you and Mom do together? read books

18. How are you and Mom alike? eyes the same

19. How are you and Mom different? I smaller

20. How do you know Mommy loves you? Like this (as she gives me a hug and kiss!!!) Oh that makes it so worth it!!!

What can I say, I sometimes wonder if I am raising good kids and I guess I just have to ask questions and I will find out a answer! I might have to not clean as much... I think that is all I do, and from Addey's answers she might think the same. (well I am packing right now so it might seem that way)

Addey's first day of preschool!!

Really going to preschool should not be hard...for me. Addey has been going to preschool for 2 years and she really loves it. It is just hard for me every year to even send her. I miss her while she is gone, and really 2 hours twice a week should be a nice break. This year it was heart breaking because Reece missed her too. I realized how much Addey entertains and takes care of Reece!!


Addey loves being with other kids and learning so of coarse she did not mind leaving us and going. She started a new preschool this year with a new teacher and new friends . When I came to pick her up she said "mom my teacher did not even tell me to sit down I was so good" I do not really know what to think about that because that could mean so many things to Addey but I think she was excited and loved it!!

My last little post was a counter to Addey's birthday, It was mostly for me to remind me how long I have until she will be 4. (I can not believe I have a 4 year old) I have always been a little sad that Addey misses the deadline and will not go to school until she is 6 but now I am thinking it will be great for me!! Addey on the other hand would go to high school tomorrow if she could but I am happy to wait!!! I am however glad she loved her first day of preschool and it was nice to have a little alone time with Reece. But we were both excited when it was time to pick Addey up!!!

High School Tag

I have been tagged by Cheri. I think this is one I can do because it is based on facts and I do not have to be to creative or find something exciting about myself.

1. Did you date someone from your school? YES!! And I married him!!

2. What kind of car did you drive? My first car was old gold a old 2 door Buick, I then drove the good old "Zuk" a Suzuki samurai , and then I finally graduated to a Ford Probe and I LOVED that car!!!

3. Did you pass your driver's license test on the first try? yes

4. Were you a party animal? Nope, I was actually kind of a party pooper. I had fun but never did anything party animal-ish except try to get my curfew later than 11:00.

5. Were you considered a flirt? um... well I am going to have to say just a little. But I do not know does anyone else know the answer to that?

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? NO and it is a good thing because I can not sing.

7. Were you a nerd? No

8. Were you on any varsity teams? Drill Team for four years.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No

10. Can you still sing the fight song? Hail to our school all hail let the glorious banners fly... Yes I sure can. ( Cheri I can not believe you can't with all the flag ceremonies we did)

11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr. Aplanalp, Mr. Chad Staley ( now by brother in law!!) and I loved taking math from Mr. Chad Peterson.

12. Where did you sit during lunch? In Wacey's truck. We usually went somewhere to eat.

13. What was your school's full name? South Summit High School

14. School mascot and colors? Wildcats and our colors were kelly green and white. (Cheri I think it is ok you do not remember the school song because you remembered the exact colors!!)

15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Yes, it was just a casual dance in the gym after the game.

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? I loved High School and had a lot of fun, but I married Wacey so it is kinda like we are in high school all the time. j/k I would have tried better in school if I could go back but I am with Cheri I am likeing the now.

17. What do you remember most about graduation? I do remember the all night party, but I do not think I won anything.

18. Where did you go senior skip day? Hmm I do not know.

19. Were you in any clubs? Future Farmers of America!!! ( and it payed off to because I am the best farmer around) I actually Loved FFA

20. Have you gained some weight since then? I hate this guestion Yes but actually not to much (Unless you are comparing me to Cheri)

21. Who was your prom date? This is a touchy subject around my house, I went with Aaron Robinson but at the time I had a really good friend that asked me and I wanted to go with him and... Wacey and I were kinda starting to hang out and he just thought I would go with him but he did not actually ask me. Aaron asked me first and set it up with my mom so she made me go with him. We had fun and he was a good date just under the circumstances I was not happy.

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? NO, we actually just had it and I wanted to go but had surgery 2 days before and was not feeling up to it.

23. Did you have a job while in high school? I worked at the Drug store and then at the Texaco
